April - The month for “Elephant Eating”…and showers.

The picture at left depicts a behemoth tree trunk that fell across my neighbor’s swimming hole.  To clear this “Elephant” required cutting it into small pieces - easier to move and burn…”eating” it one bite at a time. (I want to give a shout-out to Harbor Rental’s blade-sharpening technician - I go through the entire tree with one blade!!!)

This same practice has MANY applications. For me this month it pertained to studies for getting credentialed as a Marine Electrician, and as a Marine Systems Specialist through the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) — the body which organizes and contributes “best practices” to be codified as safety regulations by the USCG (and ISO internationally).

This deluge of information and Standards ingestion will nurture Essential Handyman and Landscaping Services - allowing new services to blossom in May!  

Be sure to fertilize and water your gardens now so that we all have well established roots as the days get warmer…and don’t forget the sun-screen!

Marching Along…

Today is SPRING - 2021!!!  …a great day to stand-up this new web-site!  Thank you to those who have had a role in designing this - my teacher who helped with the technical service to those of you who made sure I was on target and had an operational site!  

Also a shout out to those who have given me work this winter!  I am very happy to have met so many new friends! It is great to be able to be of service!  …hopefully we are DONE with our windstorms!!!

Lastly - a quick reminder that April is going to be very busy for me as I juggle work with a full class load for Certification with the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) as a boat Electrician and Systems Technician!
